Terms of service

The rules, in plain language.

These terms describe what we offer, what we expect from you, and where the limits sit. By using toClarity you agree to them.

Who we are

This service is operated by Jean-Jacques Dreier, trading as toClarity, a sole proprietorship (jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza) registered with CEIDG in Poland. Our tax identifiers are NIP 8971702832 and REGON 544824010. Our registered business address is a virtual office at Plac Solny 14/3, 50-062 Wrocław, Poland.

Throughout these terms, "we", "us", and "toClarity" refer to that operator. "You" refers to anyone using the service.

What toClarity is

toClarity is a knowledge synthesis platform. We synthesize publicly available expert discussions, interviews, research interpretations, and educational content in nutrition, metabolism, longevity, and related health topics. We organize what we find into structured Topic pages, Health Area overviews, and Roadmaps.

We are an editorial and educational service. We are not a medical provider, a clinic, a diagnostic service, or a telehealth platform.

Not medical advice

Nothing on toClarity is medical advice. We don't diagnose, treat, prescribe, or cure any condition. Content on this site is for educational and informational purposes only.

Content on toClarity should not be used as a substitute for professional medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, exercise, supplements, or medications. The same applies to your animals: consult a licensed veterinarian.

We do our best to synthesize reliable expert sources, but experts disagree, evidence evolves, and individual situations vary. Use toClarity to ask better questions, not to replace the professional in front of you.

Account requirements

To access paid content you need an account. You must be at least 18 years old (or have parental or legal guardian consent if a minor is permitted to contract under your local law) and able to enter into a binding contract under Polish law.

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Subscription tiers and payment

We offer four access levels:

Free: orientation content available without an account.

Day Pass (€9; €5 first-time): full Topic access for 24 hours from activation.

Monthly (€29 per month): full access including Health Maps. Renews monthly until cancelled.

Annual (€290 per year): full access. Renews annually until cancelled. Two months free relative to Monthly.

All prices are in euros. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund policy. In short: 30-day full refund on first-time Annual, 7-day refund window on first-time Monthly, Day Pass non-refundable once activated except for technical issues.

EU consumers have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts on digital content. Our 30-day Annual refund window exceeds that minimum.

What you can do with our content

All editorial content on toClarity is our intellectual property or used under license. While your subscription is active you may read, save personal notes, and reference individual pages.

You may not republish, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or use our content to train any AI model. You may not scrape the site at scale or use automated agents to extract content. Reasonable manual citation (mentioning toClarity and linking to the source page) is fine.

Acceptable use

Don't use toClarity to harass other users, attempt to access accounts that aren't yours, probe the service for vulnerabilities without prior written permission, or interfere with the service's operation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may pause, modify, or discontinue features as the platform evolves. For substantive changes that affect paid subscribers we will give reasonable notice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Polish law, our aggregate liability for any claim related to toClarity is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We aren't liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights under EU law, including warranty rights and the right to remedies for defective digital content.

Termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting support@toclarity.app. If your subscription is active, paid access continues through the billing period you already paid for.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable and immediate effect where required (for example, fraud or abuse).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes affecting paid subscribers we will email registered account holders and give at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes will be resolved by the competent Polish courts, subject to your mandatory rights as an EU consumer to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

EU consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform for cross-border consumer disputes.

Contact

For any question about these terms, email support@toclarity.app. We aim to respond within five business days.
